Jagan completes 35 days in jail
YSR Congress Party president and Lok Sabha member YS Jaganmohan Reddy completed 35 days in the Chanchalguda central prison on Monday as an undertrial in a disproportionate assets case.
In his 10th mulaqaat with his family members, the famous Qaidi No. 6093 met his wife YS Bharathi, mother Vijayalakshmi and sister Sharmila for 45 minutes from 11 am.
Apart from regular two mulaqats a week, he had seven special mulaqats to meet some MPs and MLAs.
‘On Monday Jagan utilised his first mulaqat of this week and has one more. He will not be allowed any special mulaqat if it is not important for government officials,’ said a jail official.
He was spending his time playing carroms and badminton, and going through the newspapers everyday, he said. A convict can have two mulaqats in 15 days and an undertrial two mulaqats a week.
