New Delhi, Jun 25: The Special cell of the Delhi police has arrested key 26/11 handler Syed Jabiudin from the Indira Gandhi International airport. He is one one of the 6 handlers involved in the deadly 26/11 attacks. He was reportedly involved in identifying targets for various terror attacks.

The terror operative is part of the Lashkae-e-Toiba and travelled to Pakistan to train recruits for the Mumbai attacks. He was arrested following an Intelligence Bureau tip-off. The arrest reveals the role of non-state actors in the terror attacks planned in India and is likely to give more strength to India’s claim on Pakistan’s role in the terror activities planned in Indian soil.

Syed was one of the key conspirators of the 26/11 attacks and is understood to have been deported from Saudi Arabia for his terror links. Syed Jabiudin, also called Abu Hamza played the role of giving instructions to terror operatives on how to wreak havoc in India.
