TDP Plays Crucial Role in National Crisis- Says Chandra Babu

The Telugu Desam Party President Chandra Babu Naidu said at Delhi on Wednesday at the fivestar hotel he was staying, “Whenever there has been a crisis at the national level, the TDP has played a positive and crucial role. We want to play that role again. How, we will decide after consulting other parties,”

Recalling golden era of Telugu Desam party having absolute majority in the State and also playing important role on National level, Chandra Babu Naidu said that the party played key role in the Government led by United Front during 1996-98, and National Democratic Alliance (NDA) during the period 1998-2004.

In fact the United Front was formed in AP Bhawan Delhi in the year 1996 in which Chandra Babu Naidu played a star role.  Chandra Babu says that the urgent need at National level at present is to dislodge Congress party from power.

TDP is divided in to two because of the regional feelings.  Referring to the two parties in the two regions- TRS and YSRCP, he said that they are nothing but Congress party’s branch offices.

Chandra Babu Naidu made it a point that the party is again going to play in the forthcoming elections in 2014, the same crucial role it did earlier.
