Did CM tried to stop Telangana?
CM Kiran Kumar Reddy, who camped at New Delhi for three days in the last week has returned home without serving his purpose of visit. Actually, he lands there to convince Sonia Gandhi to grant a special package worth Rs.80,000 crore to Telangana than carving Telangana state. For this purpose, he even prepared a presentation very confidentially, but she refused to hear his arguments as the core committee has already comes to a conclusion on Telangana issue. Kiran Kumar’s efforts to get her appointment through her close aides also not yields any results. He returned home in despair, when Digvijay Singh has conveyed her decision to him on Wednesday last week.
Then, the T-Congress leaders meeting successfully takes place and the other day Digvijay Singh has formally told that a decision on Telangana will be  announced within 10 days. He also entrusts the job of preparing roadmap for Telangana to disgruntled CM. His deputy Damodara Rajanarasimha and PCC President Botsa Satyanarayana were asked to assist him in this painful task. As if to further confirm his statement, Digvijay once again told the media at Bangalore that Congress is expecting to benefited with the bifurcation of the state. Hence, now it is a matter of time to hear the Center announce separate Telangana state.
This may irks the Seemandhra leaders, but party high command is confident to calm them all using its standard techniques.
