48 Booked For Cheating In Inter Exams

As many as 48 students were booked for malpractice during the Intermediate Public Examinations held across the state on Wednesday.

Of 7,26,033 General and 1,04,108 Vocational candidates, as many as 57,855 (6.96%) students abstained from the examination held for the subjects of Mathematics Paper IB, Zoology Paper I and History Paper I.

The Board of Intermediate Education had sent observers to the districts of Mahabubnagar, Nalgonda, Medak, Warangal & Ranga Reddy. The examinations were conducted peacefully.

The Chief Superintendents were instructed to allot rooms to the invigilators by drawing lots at 8:45am. Lecturers of subjects in which exams are being held on a particular day are not allowed to be drafted for invigilation duty on that day. (INN)
