Union Minister of State for Tourism Chiranjeevi is concerned about the safety of foreign women tourists in India. He said that foreign women’s safety has become a big concern. He expressed his anguish over the increasing sexual attacks on foreign women. He lamented that incidents like these will give a very poor impression of India and will harm Indian tourism sector. As Law and Order is a States subject, Chiranjeevi has written to all Chief Ministers for ensuring safety of foreign tourists, especially women.
