YSRCP’s Key Role in Politics!
YSRCP denies a deal with the ruling Congress party as called by TDP a match fixing time and again. The party’s senior leader Umareddy Venkateswarlu said in a media meet on Friday that YS Jagan is going to play a key role in the State and Center politics after the elections in 2014.
Venkateswarlu said that the Congress party is going to see a down fall that makes it come to YSRCP for salvage. He ruled out Congress coming to power and Rahul becoming PM. He also gave his predictions that the TDP which is on saving Congress will also go down along with it.
The TDP President Chandra Babu Naidu has been repeatedly stating that TRS and YSRCP are the branch offices of Congress party in Telangana and Seemandhra. He has been telling that it is the strategy of the Congress party to make TRS to merge and get YSRCP to support from outside. That way Congress party is expecting to get support from TRS and also YSRCP to have a firm hold on the State(s).
YSRCP strongly opposes the remarks of TDP that Congress and YSR Congress parties have a secret understanding. It says that the situation will make Congress party and UPA to go after YSRCP but not otherwise.
The party in a way is not denying the mutual support of Congress party/UPA and YSR Congress parties but objects the talk of having truck with Congress party now. Their argument is that the YSRCP is going so strong that UPA has to come down to look upon it as its savior.
The statement also answers the speculation of Chandra Babu Naidu that Jagan had special facilities in the jail and now got bail as he has a secret pact with the Congress party. YSRCP wants to convey that they are emerging as a strong party and if at all any merger happens that will be of other parties with YSRCP but not the party merging with other parties.
