Samaikhyandhra movement rains slippers on minister

As the bifurcation process is about to begin full swing, emotions are running high among those supporting a United Andhra. In an overflow of frustration, few Samaikhyandhra aggravators rained slippers and eggs onSatrucharla Vijay Rama Raju.
As the Minister for Forests and Environment, he is under fire for not resigning his post and actively working towards discouraging a bifurcation. Many activists are demanding that the minister quit his post in protest against state split.
The event happened in Srikakulam district, where the minister was travelling with a convoy. A large number of police personnel managed to stop the slipper throwing and immediately stopped the protestors from progressing.
