Hyderabad : Tears welled up the eyes of former home minister Sabita Indra Reddy when she attended the CBI court in connection with the Dalmia angle of the Jagan assets case, in which she was named accused.

It is the first time for Sabita to appear in the court.

She looked serious and reserved to herself. She has not shown interest in talking to anyone. Though Jagan greeted her, she initially not responded. She then greeted him.

When the CBI filed memo seeking her judicial custody, tears rolled from her eyes.

Followers arrested

A large number of followers of Sabita apart from her son Kartik accompanied her to the court. When the followers raised slogans, the court was disturbed. On the directions of the judge, police tried to remove them from the court’s vicinity. When they were adamant, police arrested them and shifted to the police station.
