Hyderabad : YSR Congress honorary president Vijayamma met her son and party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy at the Chanchalguda jail and held discussions with him for over an hour, in the backdrop of reports about the state’s division and former minister Konda Surekha’s revolt.

It is learnt that Vijayamma discussed the party’s future course of action on the Telangana issue. She also reportedly discussed about Konda Surekha’s open letter and the warnings of other Telangana leaders. The resignations of Seemandhra region MLAs also came for discussion. It is learnt that Jagan has expressed anger at Konda Surekha and her husband.

Party senior leaders M V Mysoora Reddy, Y V Subba Reddy and Sajjala Rama Krishna Reddy were also with Vijayamma when she met Jagan.
