Ponnala Lakshmaiah to appear in CBI charge sheet next
CBI is likely to name Minister Ponnala Lakshmaiah in one of the three charge sheets likely to be filed in the Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy illegal investment cases by June end.
Charge sheets in the Penna Cements and India Cements conspiracy case, and Kolkata briefcase companies case are pending before Delhi bosses of CBI for final whetting and likely that all will be clubbed into one charge sheet.
Jagan’s auditor Vijay Sai Reddy will be surrendering before the CBI court on June 5 and will be sent to judicial remand in Chanchalaguda following the cancellation of his bail by the Supreme Court last month. He was given time out for his daughter’s marriage was held on May 26.
The accused in the Dalmia Cements conspiracy case, including Sabita Indra Reddy, Dharmana Prasada Rao, and Puneet Dalmia will appear appear in the CBI special court at Nampally on June 7th.
Sources said that the probe into the Indu Projects allotments and Bharathi (formerly Raghuram) Cements is still on.
