The coal scam is hitting the south Indian film personality and former Union coal minister Dasari Narayan Rao once again.

CBI filed an FIR on Rao in connection with deals of Jindal Steel and Power and Gagan Sponge and two other power generators who were also booked in the coal gate scandal.

Dasari was questioned thrice by the CBI in the past but today his house was raided and searched by the CBI for records of some steel companies after he was named in the FIRs.

While the opposition has been demanding resignation of PM on the coal gate issue following the supreme court censure of the CBI, the UPA government is trying to find a -’bakara’ to save Manmohan Singh.
