CM Kiran Kumar Reddy has directed that dealers should stock one month stock for distribution of Amma Hastam scheme – all nine products sufficient for 2.25 crore BPL family beneficiaries.

He also directed officials that all the 46,000 dealers of PDS should be alerted about Government program so that there should be no laxity in its implementation.

Civil Supplies Minister D Sridhar Babu said that, so far nearly 1.90 crore beneficiaries have been given Amma Hastam bags, which were given free of cost once a year, so that the beneficiaries could carry all the nine products every month.
