Hyderabad : TDP chief Chandra Babu Naidu has made it clear that he had no differences with his brother-in-law and party’s politburo member Hari Krishna.

In an interview to a popular Telugu news channel, he said he did not know why Hari Krishna had not attended the Visakhapatnam public meeting and said he should himself explain the reason. He said he gave respect to all the family members and wished that all were together. He however said family and party were two different entities and appealed to members not to cause problems to the party.

Position to Balayya

When asked about the position to be given to hero Bala Krishna, he said the party would give position as per the interests of the individual and clarified that party was supreme. Stating that everyone had the responsibility to strengthen the party, Babu said he had the courage to tell whatever wanted, straight forward, to Balayya or any other leader.

Lokesh also should work with discipline

Naidu said he told his son Lokesh that he should also work with commitment and not try to control the party or the people. He said his working style only would decide his future. He praised his wife Bhuvaneswari for bringing Lokesh up with discipline. He said he never could not spare time for his son as he was busy with politics. He also said his wife had never asked him not to go on pada yatra. “She only asked me to be careful. She never pulled me back”, Naidu added.

Changed man

Chandra Babu Naidu claimed that the pada yatra brought a sea change in him. He said people would see the Naidu of before 1999 in future. He admitted that he had committed some mistakes in his over-anxiety. He assured that he would fulfill all his promises if returned to power and claimed that only TDP was capable of developing the state.
