Congress Ministers and MLAs shunted us out and ill-treated us when we sought help and succor.That is how family members of jailed minister Mopidevi Venkata Ramana recounted how congress leaders turned away when they wanted support.

Mopidevi brother Harinath Babu says he was told by Union Minister Panabaka Lakshmi that Venkataramana should blame it on Jagan and become state approver . Even when his brother Mopidevi was brought to Hospital he was just checked for BP and pulse and sent back to jail without proper Medicare. He said former ministers Dharmana and Sabita are treated differently? and still not arrested after their names appeared in the charge sheets. Hailing from poor fishermen community Mopidevi was elected as Mandal president in 1987 and five times to Assembly but the Congress government made him a scapegoat to save their skins.

Welcoming Mopidevi family into YSRCP YS Vijayamma said counter was not filed in Supreme court on the issue of 26 GOs for 8 months thereby leading to criminal cases against Jagan and Mopidevi and subsequent jail . But the Government filed a counters only later to save the ministers.
