YS Vijayamma, the honorary president of YSRCP on Saturday was forced to call off her indefinite hunger strike.

Concerned over Vijayamma’s deteriorating health, her son and party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy asked Vijayamma to end fast.

YSRCP leaders said that YS Jagan asked Vijayamma to call off protest in view of her failing health.

It is learnt that Jagan got special permission from the jail officials, to call Vijayamma. The jail officials gave Jagan their phone to call Vijayamma.
The party leaders asserted that only hunger strike has ended, not the fight for equal justice of all the regions.
