Barring minor incidents in some districts, first phase of gram panchayat polls ended peacefully today afternoon. Some minor clashes have been reported in Chittoor, Prakasham, Kadapa districts among others. People have braved rain and thronged election booths in Telangana. Counting will be first done for ward member posts and later Sarpanch posts.
