Congress to take final decision on Telanagana shortly

New Delhi : The Congress core committee which met here, reportedly decided to take a final call on the vexatious Telangana issue after the conclusion of the state budget session.

Responding to the resignations of two party MPs Manda Jagannatham, Vivek and senior leader K Kesava Rao, the core committee at its marathon meeting allotted almost two hours for the Telangana issue. The committee also called AICC general secretary and state in-charge Ghulam Nabi Azad and heard his views. After prolonged debate, the committee felt that decision on the issue should not be delayed any longer. The committee reportedly decided to announce the decision after the Assembly session as it was felt that the decision should not hamper the budget process.
