Bal Thackeray in hospital

Published on Jul 25 2012 // Political News

Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray was on Tuesday admitted to a private hospital here, a day after his son and Sena executive president Uddhav Thackeray was discharged after undergoing an angioplasty.

“Mr. Thackeray was having some problem in breathing. He experienced some uneasiness. So he was admitted for a routine check-up. They might keep him under observation for a few days keeping the age factor in mind,” Sena spokesperson Shweta Parulekar told one pepar on the phone.

However, Dr. Jalil Parkar, pulmonary physician to the Thackerays, refused to comment on the matter.

Mr. Thackeray is expected to be in the hospital for around five days. The party said there was no cause for worry.
