Supreme cancels bail of A-2 & A-6 in Jagan case

The Supreme Court on Thursday dismissed the bail petition of industrialist Nimmagadda Prasad (A-6) and Vijay Sai Reddy ( A-2) in connection with the Vanipic case.

The court concurred with the CBI claim that Nimmagadda, an influential businessman could hamper witnesses in the case as he was kingpin of the Q P Q deal of the Jagati publications involving nearly 72 industrial concerns. The court also admitted CBI’s counter petition to cancel the bail of Vijaya Sai. Vijai Sai Reddy who had threatened witnesses in the Dalmia and other cement companies which were granted quid pro quo deal after investment in the Jagan companies .
