Khammam : After the departure of Konda Surekha and others, YSR Congress of Y S Jaganmohan Reddy received one more setback in the Telangana region on Monday. Party senior leader Puvvada Ajay Kumar quit the party. It is learnt that he took the decision as he was hurt by the remarks made by Sharmila at Ichapuram on Sunday.

It may be recalled that Sharmila took objection to the TRS chief KCR’s remarks against Seemandhra employees and questioned if Hyderabad was in Pakistan.

It may be recalled that Konda Surekha, her husband Konda Murali, former MLA Kommuri Pratapa Reddy and senior leaders KK Mahender Reddy and Jitta Bala Krishna Reddy had already left the party, protesting against 16 MLAs of the party quitting their posts against the creation of Telangana.
