Bandh is effective in Seemandhra today for the bandh call given by the Samaikya Rashtra Parirakshana Vedika.  Today’s bandh is made in accordance to the protest schedule made on 16th.  The program in addition to the bandh is to block highways blocking vehicular traffic coming in to the State.

Visakhapatnam: Educational institutions, traders and business houses closed their activity today.  Auto unions are observing bandh that made 12000 autos in the city off the road.

Srikakulam: Petrol pumps are closed.  The protester of Samaikyandhra movement are stopping vehicles coming from Odisha,  on highway at Itchapuram.

Nellore: Bandh is peaceful at Nellore.  Traders and business people voluntarily closed their activities today.  RTC workers are ensuring stopping of autos in the city.      Vehicles are stopped by the protesters with barricades on the highway of Kolkata- Chennai.

Vizianagaram: Bandh is going on in Vizianagaram district peacefully.  Educational institutions and traders closed business voluntarily.  Roads are blocked at Bobbili, Saluru and Parvathipuram that hindered the vehicular traffic.
