Majlis donation; Chiru package to Uttarakhand

Hyderabad, June 26: All political parties and State governments started contributing their mite for Uttarakhand victims.

Apart from the governmental help, the main Opposition TDP and YSR Congress are providing medical aid to the needy. Other parties are participating in the relief operations.

The MIM has rendered a major help to the victims. The party leaders met on Tuesday and discussed about the help it could extend to the victims. Later, they decided to give Rs 6 lakhs to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund. They also decided to send medicines worth Rs 20 lakhs and food kits worth Rs 54 lakhs which would be  delivered to 10,000 families themselves.

Union Minister for Tourism K. Chiranjeevi announced a package of Rs 100 crores from the Tourism ministry to Uttarakhand State on Wednesday.
