Have respect, quit congress – Lagadapati Rajagopal

Lagadapati Rajagopal continues to champion for the Samaikhyandhra cause relentlessly. The Seemandhra fighter is intent on two things at this point of time. Either he wants the speaker Meira Kumar to accept his resignation, or he plans to team up with fellow Seemandhra MPs and delay bifurcation process.

Expressing his anguish to the media, the Vijayawada MP said that the speaker was not in her chambers but will meet Meira Kumar at her earliest availability. Lagadapati Rajagopal lamented that MPs belonging to Congress will bring more difficulties to the present government. Our leadership has come to a stage where it abandoned all of Seemandhra’s 25 MPs for support from outsiders, he cried, while not naming the ‘outsiders’.

“If we have a single iota of self respect, we should not continue as members of the Congress party and as MPs. We have our task clear ahead of us, our aim is to delay the process of Bifuraction,” Lagadapati said. MPs have no choice but to go with the peoples sentiment and we are ready for that, he added.
