File case against Minister Danam

Published on Apr 17 2013 // Featured, Political News

The Nampally Court on Wednesday issued orders to the Banjara Hills police to file cases under IPC 147, 148, 149, 160, 320, 427, 307 and 506 sections against the Labor Minister Danam Nagender in connection with the attack on an advocate. The Court issued these orders responding to the petition filed by an advocate.

It may be recalled that on January 17, Telangana Advocates JAC has obstructed the Minister’s convoy when the latter was proceeding towards his residence from the Ministers Quarters. The Advocates JAC representatives also pelted stones on Danam’s convoy alleging that the latter was obstructing the creation of separate Telangana State. In this incident, Danam’s car glass panes were destroyed.

Angered with the attack on his car, Danam himself got down from the car and chased the Advocates and attacked the lawyers. Following this incident one lawyer approached the Court and the Court responded on it and ordered the police to file cases against the Minister.
