Digvijay holds late night discussions on ‘T’: Decision soon?
New Delhi : In a development that suggests that the Congress High Command has started a serious exercise on the Telangana issue, party’s new state in-charge Digvijay Singh held discussions with the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy, union minister Pallam Raju, MPs Lagadapati Raja Gopal and KVP Ramachandra Rao till midnight on the Telangana issue.
It is learnt that Digvijay would either come to the state or call the top leaders of the TRS, TDP, YSR Congress and other important parties to Delhi to hold one final round of discussions on the two proposals before the High Command – Rayala Telangana and Package. It is learnt that both party chief Sonia Gandhi and vice president Rahul Gandhi are favouring the Rayala Telangana proposal. Kiran Kumar Reddy reportedly suggested that whatever be the decision, it should be taken before the local body elections.
