Cabinet Note on Telangana Readied- Shinde
The Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde says that the Cabinet note on Telangana State is made ready and it will be submitted in the Cabinet meeting tomorrow at 9.45. He also says that the Cabinet is going to discuss on it to come to a conclusion.
Antony Committee has not submitted its report. Recent talk was that the note will be redressed as per the contents in Antony Committee’s report. As Antony Committee’s report was not made ready, the Seemandhra leaders were happy and they revealed their happiness by sharing it telling that the report is kept in abeyance. But now as per Shinde the Cabinet note is made without referring to the Antony Report as it is not yet concluded by the committee.
But, Shinde adds, no decision is made on Hyderabad. As the total disagreement to the CWC’s decision is based upon and centered on Hyderabad, the Center obviously could not decide on the issue to select one of the 3 or 4 alternatives regarding the treatment of Hyderabad.
