Director and former union minister Dasari Narayana Rao moving towards YSR Congress?

Dasari has been unhappy ever since Chiranjeevi joined the Congress. Earlier, Congress gave a lot of importance to Dasari as he belonged to the majority Kapu community in the Seemandhra region. But after Chiranjeevi joined the party, Dasari was grossly ignored, as the former Mega Star also belonged to the same community and glamour wise, a better choice.

As Congress made Chiru a union minister and promoted another Kapu leader Pallam Raju to cabinet rank, YSRCP is worried that Kapu votes may shift to Congress. To prevent the shift, YSRCP is also seriously trying to get Dasari into its fold.

Dasari who was unceremoniously removed from the cabinet, is said to be waiting to avenge the insult. It is in this situation that the YSRCP has intensified its trials to woo Dasari. If things workout the way the two are planning, Dasari might join the YSRCP and may even have a big say in the party.
