Samaikhyandhra movement violating human rights?
According to CPM state secretary BV Raghavulu, the Telangana and Samaikhyandhra movements are no less than violations of human rights for not doing justice to the backward classes. He opined that any movement that is inconsiderate to the underprivileged classes is a violation of human rights.
Raghavulu explained that movement such as these should be held in a manner that does not adversely effect students, the poor and the handicapped. He made his comments at the round table meeting organized by the handicapped, where Samikhyandhra movement’s impact on the pension of handicapped is being discussed.
As per the secretary’s observations, the aforementioned classes are facing troubles due to the United Andhra movement. Over the past 40 days, the state has incurred huge losses, he said, adding that he is ready to lodge a complaint with the Human Rights Commission.
Raghavulu feels that any upheaval such as this must have a social angle to it. Hence, he is willing to make a complaint against the Samaikhyandhra movement on behalf of CPM.
