Adilabad, Feb 16: MIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi arrested for his hate speech was not released despite getting bail in both the cases in Adilabad and Nizamabad, as he had not surrendered his passport as directed by the court.
The Adilabad court imposed three conditions for issuing bail to Akbaruddin. He was asked to surrender his passport, not to enter Nirmal and not to make hate speech again. The court warned that his bail would be cancelled if he violated any of these conditions. The MLA’s lawyers submitted two sureties of Rs. 25,000 each for bringing Akbar out. However as he had not surrendered his passport, release orders were not issued.
