As per highly reliable sources, it is almost confirmed of the ‘Ghattamaneni’ family joining YSR Congress Party soon. Krishna’s daughter and Mahesh Babu’s elder sister Manjula is venturing into politics. She will now be contesting from Guntur district for an MLA seat in next elections (2014) from YSRCP.

It is learnt, Mahesh Babu will campaign for her sister during elections. Earlier many star heroes entered into politics and few others campaigned for various parties. When Jr.NTR was campaigning for last general elections (2009), Rajasekhar Reddy tried to rope Mahesh to drive for Congress Party, but the actor never showed interest. But it is now compulsory for Mahesh to campaign for YSRCP as his sister is going to compete from the same party. So, Surya Bhai is to work for Jagan from now on.
