Ministers don’t Figure in Jagan’s Charge Sheets
CBI filed three fresh charge sheets in the case of YS Jagan’s Disproportionate Assets case with the CBI Special Court in a sealed cover. In all the charges sheets, YSRCP President Jagan and his financial advisor Vijaya Sai Reddy were mentioned as the main accused.
As per the Charge sheets, India Cements invested Rs.140 crores in Bharati Cements, Jagati Publications, and Carmel Asia. CBI states that as per the investigations made by them, all that money was nothing but kickback to YS Government that allowed River waters to be used.
Penna Cements invested in Jagati Publications and Carmel Asia to the tune of Rs.68 crores for which the company was given lime stone mines in Kurnool and Rangareddy districts. It also was allotted a land of 230 acres in Ananthapur district by YS Govt.
475 acres of land was transferred from Raghuram Cements to Bharati Cements in a manner that is far from order. The land of 120 acres to Bharati Cements was given many exemptions as CBI observes.
