Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy met Congress president Sonia Gandhi ahead of a crucial meeting this evening of the Congress core group to decide on demands for a separate Telangana state.

The meeting lasted just ten minutes and CM came out with a confused look on his face say party insiders and his personal staf,The Andhra Pradesh chief minister has repeatedly brought road maps on all possible options for the core committee meeting.

Pro-Telangana parties have rejected options of T without Hyderabad or financial packages to add to the Congress party’s dilemma, its own leaders from Telangana are firmly backing a separate state. And dont want the credit to go to the Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS).

TRS leader KCR who broke away from the UPA in 2006 over the issue is suspicious of Congress announcement on Telangana today. He is riding both on NDA ad UPA to achieve Telangana state .Congress blamed it on TDP for delay all along and now has none but itself to blame.

Congress is also caught up with the protests from the coastal and Rayalaseema regions, who are opposing Telangana. Anti-Telangana groups are meeting in Delhi today and have called for a bandh tomorrow in state.
