New Delhi : TRS MP Vijaya Santi is overwhelmed that the Congress leadership has finally conceded Telangana.

The former actress has been camping in the capital and watching the developments. Strangely the cutouts of the late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi appeared at her residence, indicating her inclination towards Congress.

On Tuesday after the UPA meeting approved the creation of Telangana, reports started doing the rounds that Vijaya Santi has already sent signals to the Congress High Command that she would join the party. It is likely that she might join Congress on August 8.Aaccording to information, she might contest as the Congress candidate from the Medak constituency in 2014.
