Congress MPs display ‘T’ placards in Parliament
New Delhi : Congress MPs of the Telangana region had caused commotion in the Lok Sabha when Parliament’s second phase of budget sessions started on Monday.
Lok Sabha had condoled the death of former governor V S Rama Devi and also the Boston blasts victims. Referring to the incident of rape of a five-year-old girl in Delhi, the Speaker Meira Kumar said such incidents continue to recur until there is change in the attitude of the society and people; Then even as the DMK MPs have been demanding the removal of the JPC chairman Chako, ‘T’ MPs raised Telangana slogans and displayed placards. They demanded that a decision be announced soon.
‘T’ Congress MPs Manda Jagannatham, Vivek, Ponnam Prabhakar and Rajaah and TDP MP Ramesh Rathod stood at the Parliament gate and protested against delay in the formation of Telangana. Lok Sabha was adjourned till 12 noon because of the commotion.
