MOPIDEVI VENKATARAMANA RELEASED FROM JAIL

Months of turbulence has ended, albeit temporarily, for Former Excise Minister Mopidevi Venkataramana. He was set free from the Chanchalaguda jail this evening.

The jail officials released Mopidevi from the prison after receiving the bail sanction order of the CBI court.

Mopidevi will have to come back to jail after the expiry of his interim bail period, which is up to October 31.

The court had granted interim bail to Mopidevi on Monday evening on medical grounds. (Mopidevi gets bail)
