Hyderabad: The YSRCP’s ‘Samaikya Shankharavam’ will now take place on October 26.

Party president YS Jaganmohna Reddy made an announcement to this effect soon after leading a delegation of party MPs, MLAs and MLCs to Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan. HE said that the police gave permission to the meeting on that date.

Jagan clarified that the public meeting is not about Seemandhra issues but the ‘Samaikya Shankharavam’ is about giving assurance to “people of Telangana, coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema”.

He invited “all concerned” to the public meeting. He gave call that everyone shall unite against the injustice being meted out by the Centre to Andhra Pradesh.

He particularly called upon Chief Minister Kiran and Opposition leader Chandrababu Naidu to see that a resolution in favour of the interated state id passed in the Satte Assembly. He warned that otherwise, these two leaders will become “chartira heenulu”.
