General Dyer and Kasim Rizvi were remembered by state politicians in their efforts at throwing up dirt on each other in the run up to statehood crucial meeting tomorrow at Delhi.

Rajahmundry Congress MP Undavalli Arun Kumar and TRS leader Harish Rao have been throwing up historical names. While Undavalli Arun Kumar said KCR behaved like Kasim Razvi, Harish Rao retorted that Congress MP behaved like General Dyer responsible for the Jallianwala bagh carnage .

Both the historical generals had been instrumental in violence on innocent and poor and had made the freedom struggle into a theatre of blood and dirt.
