Purandeswari behind Babus backstabbing act

Hyderabad : Nandamuri Lakshmi Parvati, widow of the late Chief Minister N T Rama Rao expressed anger at her not receiving an invitation for the unveiling of her husband’s statue in the Parliament.

Talking to the media here on Monday, she said she would complain about it to the speaker Meira Kumar, Congress president Sonia Gandhi and the opposition leader Sushma Swaraj. Alleging that all this was the game plan of the union minister Purandareswari, Lakshmi Parvati said she was behind Chandrababu backstabbing NTR. Stating that Chandra Babu Naidu had no courage, Lakshmi Parvati charged Purandeswari of engineering the backstabbing of her late husband. She said Purandeswari who caused heart burn to NTR at the last stage of his life, had later joined Congress, the party which NTR had opposed through out his life. Stating that NTR married her only because his family members had not taken care of him, Lakshmi Parvati said his health improved and he also came back to power after marrying her.

Having backstabbed her own father and joined hands with the party had had opposed, Purandeswari was now trying to gain publicity through the statue of NTR, Lakshmi Parvati alleged. Stating that Purandeswari invited Bala Krishna as he was her brother, Lakshmi Parvati questioned why she and the TDP chief Chandra Babu Naidu were not invited. She questioned what crime she had committed for denial of the invitation.
