Is Congress playing double game with people?
In view of Digvijay Singh’s statement, it is understood that Congress has finally made-up its mind to divide the state soon. He even asked the CM to prepare road map for it and suggested to pass a resolution in the assembly, though he says is not mandatory.
While, T-Congress leaders, who cleverly hijack the Telangana sentiment from TRS, are making tall claims of achieving Telangana, their counterparts in Seemandhra are in agitating mood. Vijayawada MP Lagadapati is speaking about defeating the Telangana bill in the house. He suggests TDP to vote against Telangana bill in the house so as to avert division of the state. some leaders like him, Sailajanath, TG Venkatesh are opposing division of the state as if they are very much worried about the Seemandhra people and their interests. But, the actual game plan is that the Congress wants to get full benefit out of the bifurcation in both places. Though, Congress is the one, which is dividing the state, it wants to get the full credit of creating Telangana state to itself and remit the adverse affects into TDP account. So, its leaders are still appear divided, but when time comes nevertheless to say all of they will fall into party lines. But in the mean they are talking about introducing a bill on bifurcation in the house, so as to make the TDP spell its stand on bifurcation. If it favors bifurcation, then the leaders like Lagadapati and Sailajanath who are vociferously opposing bifurcation, will hit the media against TDP blaming it for division of the state and try to win the votes. Knowing that, TDP is neither can support nor oppose the bill in the house, Congress plans to corner it on this issue to defame it and to get full benefit out of this issue. Hence, it will be an acid test for TDP.
