No Signs of Samaikya Call Off Worries Leaders
As the Samaikyandhra stir is not giving any indication of calling off and day by day getting intensified hitting the Government activities and revenues apart from public life due to bandhs and lack of transport.
Congress leaders are either visiting frequently or camping at Delhi. Telangana leaders demanding expedition of the decision of the bifurcation and Seemandhra leaders including Chief Minister asking the party high command keep bifurcation in abeyance.
There is difference of opinion in the MPs and Minsiters of Seemandhra regarding tendering resignations to the speaker. Some are in favor of it whereas some say that their voice will be lost if the resign as they will not be in a position to participate in the discussion or voting when the bill comes to the Parliament. Others are worried about losing voice in their constituencies.
Interestingly leaders like Panabak Lakshmi others state that they are in favor of united State with a tagline that they will any how honor what high command says. Another interesting proposal is from Ministers TG Venkatesh and Yerasu Pratapa Reddy that they too are in favor of united state but they want the two districts of Anantapur and Kurnool to be merged with Telangana if bifurcation happens.
Anyhow, the Seemandhra protests for two months now are getting the leaders worried about their political status.
