MPs shoot letters to White House against Modi

Published on Jul 24 2013 // Featured, Political News

Two letters signed by our 65 MPs belonging to 12 different political parties were faxed to President of America Barrack Obama asking not to grant US Visa to Narendra Modi. They have urged him to continue the present policy and reject his Visa application if forwarded for approval. They have reasoned his communal background for their plea. Among the signed are Seetaram Echuri (CPM) and Achyutan (CPI), Mohammad Adeeb are three. The letters were faxed to White House on November 26th and on December 5th. Recently, on Sunday they once again faxed the same to White House reminding about their request as the BJP president Rajnath Singh is putting efforts to secure Visa for Modi. The Indo American Muslim Council has released the copies of their letters to Media in USA.

But, by shooting such letters to a foreign government, will it help to improve our country reputation or brings down it? Complaining about a fellow citizen to some foreign government and asking for his prohibition will certainly make our country a laughing stock before the other’s eyes. If, they oppose Modi they can teach him a lesson by defeating him in the elections, but writing letters to foreign countries is to be condemned and those who signed should be ashamed of their acts.
