Jagan critical, but firm on fasting

YSR Congress party president, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is unaffected by his health condition. Jagan has been fasting from Sunday to protest the unilateral decision of the Congress to divide the state.

Despite requests from his supporters, party members and jail officials Jagan is determined to continue his indefinite hunger strike at the Osmania hospital.. (Fast in hospital)

It is learnt that Jagan fell unconscious after his blood pressure and sugar levels dropped to alarming levels.

His mulakaaths were banned right from day 1 of his fast. Police forcibly shifted Jagan to hospital on Thursday night after his health deteriorated.

  • Doctors announced that his condition is critical and it would be risky if he fails to take any food.
  • Jagan is continuing fast in the hospital and has expressed his determination to continue his fast till justice is rendered by the Centre to all regions: Vijayamma said
  • YS Vivekananda Reddy rushed to Osmania to pay Jagan a visit. However, police did not allow him.
  • Jagan’s sugar levels drastically drop, declare doctors. Symptoms of critical health seen, say docs.
  • Doctors make it clear that Jagan’s state is very critical and must call off fast immediately

  • Jagan’s supporters and YSRCP activists are worried about his health and thronging the hospital premises to check his well being. However, the cops and additional forces deployed there apprehended them.

  • In support of Jagan’s fast, his supporters in Ananthapur held protests and rallies in the district.
  • Jupudi requests Jagan to call off fast for the sake of public. Similar pleas have been pouring in from supporters too.
  • The entry of vehicles into Osmania has been banned. Patients too are not being allowed to move around. People are condemning police high-handedness
  • Jagan’s lawyer files memo in the CBI court seeking permission to allow YS Vijayamma and YS Bharathi to be with Jagan
