Grand welcome for Naidu in Krishna

TDP chief Chandra Babu Naidu’s ‘Vastunnaa Meekosam’ pada yatra entered Krishna district on Tuesday, in a tumultuous situation with Congress leaders led by MP Lagadapati Rajagopal trying to launch a counter ‘Kanu Vippu (eye-opening) Yatra’ and the TDP leaders trying to make the entry a grand event.
Naidu who completed his Yatra in the Telangana region by winding it up in the Nalgonda district, entered Krishna district at Garikapadu check post.
Thousands of party workers and leaders accorded a grand welcome to him at the check-post. Earlier, police arrested Lagadapati at his residence.
