GoM on Seemandhra Problems
Digvijay Singh wrote a letter to the media stating that a Group of Ministers were appointed to look in to the demands of Seemandhra people. He assured that the Government is committed to the interests of the people of Seemandhra.
Digvijay Singh also released the copies of the letters given by Telugu Desam party and YSR Congress party in favor of Telangana statehood.
In the morning Digvijay Singh made a request to Samaikyandhra activists to end agitation as the people of Seemandhra region are facing hardships because of the bandhs. He said that the patients in the hospitals and general public are suffering because of lack of electricity.
He said that it is not possible at this juncture to go back on the decision of Telangana. He reiterated that the decision was taken after due consultations with all the parties.
Time and again the same thing is repeated by Digvijay Singh that all parties agreed for Telangana. But the bifurcation is not done yet. The question is what if the parties change their stand when the people demands are clear and different from what they reckon? After all the leaders are representing the people and it is the responsibility of the people’s representatives to relay the desires of the people they represent!
