Digvijay Singh, soon after taking the charge of  state political affairs is mainly concentrating on the burning Telangana issue. All the developments quickly taking place after his appointment, reveal the same. Even while, the core committee meeting left the Telangana leaders in despair for its failure to come with a firm decision, Digvijay Singh is doing ground work for the working committee that is expected to meet before end of this month.

Yesterday, he met union minister S.Jaipal Reddy and had a hour long discussion with him. Though, the details of their meeting was not revealed to media, Jaipal Reddy being the driving force of T-Congress leaders, it is understood that the meeting is about Telangana issue only. Digvijay might have briefed him about the core committee meeting and sought his suggestions in resolving the issue. At the same time he might also sought his opinion about ‘Special package to Telangana’ and ‘Rayala Telangana’ proposals. However, one thing is clear that Digvijay Singh is leaving no stone unturned to resolve this issue. So, he may insist the party high command to make a firm decision on either in favor of Telangana or united Andhra.
