APNGOs Call Off Strike Categorically

Published on Oct 18 2013 // Featured, Political News

On the promise of the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy that the process of bifurcation will be opposed in the Assembly, APNGOs called off strike and joining duties from today.

Kiran Kumar Reddy reasoned with the leaders of APNGOs that the employees have already lost pay of about 70 days and faced lot of hardships for Samaikyandhra and it is enough to show their support loud and clear.  He told them that the Government functioning came to stand still because of the strike.  The benefits that should go to the needy from the Government like pensions and welfare activities did not reach them.  General public suffered a lot.

Kiran Kumar also said that it is a known to all that he is a Samaikyavadi like them and will do the best in his hands to stop bifurcation of the State.  He assured that the Bill will be stopped when it comes to the Assembly.  He reiterated that the desire of the people of the State is his desire as an elected representative of the people.

APNGOs agreed to call off their strike.

APNGOs Association President Ashok Babu said that the strike is temporarily off.   The strike will be more intensified when the Bill reaches Assembly.
