Chandrababu spits fire on Chidambaram
Finance Minister Chidambaram’s reply to debate on bifurcation of the state in Rajya Sabha has left the opposition parties in despair as none of them are happy with his reply. TDP president Chandrababu Naidu, responding to his statement made in the house has sharply criticized him and the Congress party for behaving irresponsible in dealing with sensitive issue.
He said “Congress has used this T sentiment during 2004 and 09 elections to come to power. Still, it is trying to play the same cards to win in the 2014 elections. Instead of behaving like a head of the family, it has created rift between people of both regions. It would have taken people of both regions into consideration, while dividing the state. It is desperate to merge TRS and YSR Congress with it. We are aware that the Congress is playing this political game only to dismantle TDP.
But, it should realize that it is day-dreaming. The state virtually comes to a standstill with its hasty decision. Congress should wake-up and take corrective steps to restore peace in the state, instead of playing political games with it rivals.”
