Hyderabad : Telangana sentiment is winning again and again in the capital city. The TRS which won the by-elections of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, posted stunning victories in the APSRTC. Now the party also posted a victory in the union of the Water Board. The party is unsettling several strong labour unions in major organizations.

TRS leader Harish Rao who contested in the Water Works Employees election on behalf of TRS party’s Kamgar Union, defeated Vikram Goud, son of minister Mukhesh Goud, who contested from a Congress affiliate union, by a margin of 98 votes.

Congress affiliated Employees Union which won four consecutive elections earier, got defeated now. Balala, supported by Majlis and former minister E Peddi Reddy of the TDP lost their deposits. Harish said this is the victory of Telangana and a slap to those who say that theere is no Telangana sentiment in the capital city.
