New Delhi : Telangana Congress MPs concluded their two-day Diksha in the Parliament premises on Wednesday morning.

The MPs sat in fast at the main entrance of the Parliament on April 29, demanding that the December 9 declaration on Telangana be immediately implemented. However the Congress High Command had not bothered to respond to the fast of the MPs, despite some of the MPs including Manda Jagannatham warning that they would leave the party and join the TRS.

Speaking after ending their fast, the MPs thanked everyone who extended support to their fast. They said they resorted to the fast as the Congress High Command had not stuck to its word. They assured that they would mount further pressure on the High Command to concede Telangana.
